Police arrested singer Rekha Shah and her husband on the complaint for issuing threats. Kathmandu
police arrested the two after Subas Raj Kafle complained with police, accusing the singer of Simsime Panima fame and her husband of issuing threats to him. The two had given loan to Sandip Raj Kafle, son of Subas, for gambling in the casino, according to police. They had approached Subas seeking loan repayment after Sandip went out of contact, unable to pay back the loan.
