<div style="text-align: justify;">
Speaking at a programme organised by the UML Ilam District Committee, UML leader Khanal said that it was the responsibility of all to make the people aware about the constitution.</div>

Khanal further said that unity among major political parties representing in the parliament was essential and that misconception about the constitution would be ended once people are aware about the constitution at local level.</div>

Talk between major three political parties and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has ended inconclusively on Tuesday. The meeting held in Singha Durbar today was postponed till Thursday 1 pm, citing lack of preparation.</div>

At the meeting, UDMF had put up questions on the jurisdiction and legitimacy of the political mechanism proposed by the three major parties to resolve issues related to delineation of federal units. Following a rigorous discussion on Sunday, leaders from the major three parties and the agitating UDMF had claimed that they had narrowed down the disputes and there would be a positive turn on settling disputes including on provincial delineations.</div>

Sadbhavana Party, one of the four members of the Front, unveiled its own protest programs at a press meet in Kathmandu on Saturday. The party will begin its protests by offering prayers in public places on 3 January. And it will end the first round of protests on 11 January – the 150th day of the Madhes movement. The party’s General Secretary Manish Suman claimed that new protests were planned in coordination with other members of the Front. But a press statement issued to announce fresh protests is signed by Sadbhavana Party Chair Rajendra Mahato alone. Mahato had signed the statement before flying to New Delhi on Friday for further treatment. He was injured in a clash with police in Biratnagar last week. He had sustained ‘minor injuries’ to his head and legs, but he insisted on being admitted into the ICU. Mahato claimed he was beaten up by police when he tried to block the Nepal-India check-point in Biratnagar. Upendar Yadav, another top leader of the Front, has accused Mahato of trying to gain Madhesi people’s sympathy by staying longer in the hospital.</div>

Since the Protest of madhesi and their violent protest of three months  there is a shortage of daily livelihood products and other very essential products like medicines and fuel inside the country. Taking the advantage of the condition Black marketers have been marketing all the products in black charging high price on very essential products and stuffs. Even the retailers have been keeping the products on stock and hiding them to sell in the high products to the public. According to the government officers there is a lack of proper man power to control the situation but recently government has executed a process and has started arresting such Black Marketers. Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato was airlifted to New Delhi for treatment today after his condition did not improve. Mahato had sustained injuries on various parts of his body on Saturday, December 26 during a clash with police at the Jogbani border point in Morang district.<br />
 rayers were performed for Rajendra Mahato, president of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party, who was injured in a clash with Nepali police during a protest near Biratnagar on the India-Nepal border on December 26. The agitation comes after Nepal's political leadership assured Madhesis of accepting their political demands. Factions of Madhesi agitators continue to remain sceptical about the promise and are continuing their agitation demanding immediate changes in the constitution. Madhesis have been protesting against Nepal's new constitution for more than four months, seeking fresh demarcation of federal boundaries and other rights. More than 50 people have died and many more were injured in Terai area after protests against the new constitution began four months ago. There were reports that police have used `excessive force' to quell protests in many parts.<br />

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Prasad Pokharel went to see Rajendra Mahato in Hospital Yesterday..Senior Madhesi leader Rajendra Mahato and several people were injured in a clash with Nepal Police during a protest near Biratnagar on the Indo-Nepal border on Saturday. News reports and photos showed the chairman of Sadbhawan Party, one of the four constituents of the United Democratic Madhesi Front, had sustained injuries to his head and legs. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.<br />
Madhesis who reside in the Terai plains bordering India have been protesting against Nepal’s new constitution for more than four months, seeking fresh demarcation of federal boundaries and other rights.<br />
On Saturday, Mahato and other Madhesi protesters entered Nepal from India and tried to stage a sit-in on no man’s land. There was a clash when police asked them to shift their demonstration elsewhere.<br />
Madhesi protesters have been blocking the Birganj border point, through which most trade between India and Nepal takes place, for three months. It has resulted in a crisis of essential items and fuel in the Himalayan country.<br />
Nepal’s government tabled a constitution amendment bill in parliament this month to address the demands of Madhesis, but UDMF rejected it as vague and intensified its protests.</div>

As the constitution on Tuesday marks 100 days of its commencement, divisions among the political forces have posed a serious challenge in its implementation. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday expanded his 30-member Cabinet, inducting four new ministers from fringe parties.
